We are a small, home barbet kennel. The dogs live with us at home and are full members of our family.
Bajka ABAYA z Barbeciarskiej Chaty is our first Barbet dog.

Why did we chose her...? When we bought her, we didn't plan to start a kennel. We were looking for a friendly dog. Smart and beautiful. One that will go on a hike and visit guests with us. Open for children and other animals.
And such is Bajka ABAYA.
She looks like a teddy bear, and she behaves like that among loved ones. On the other hand, on walks, in the forest, by the water, she reveals the true character of Barbet: cheerful, lively when playing.

She surprised us more than once with her intelligence, she was able to make a decision on her own, which we have understood in time.

Life with a Barbet had become better. We have met many dog enthusiasts.
Daily contact with Bajka and talking to people who love barbets like we do, inspired us to start a kennel. My dream was yet another wonderful female Barbet dog, such from the first moment of her birth.
We went to the beautiful parts of Switzerland to breed Bajka with the best barbet ULYSSE di Barbochos Reiau de Prouvenco.
At the age of four our Bajka gave birth to puppies. She was a wise and caring mummy, and we had another beautiful experiences, great joy from observing and interacting with a bunch of puppies.
My dream had come true. In our house remained FRIDA - from the moment of birth to this day always with me. Living with Barbet bore fruit - apart from the barbet girl, we also kept wonderful and wise Hans FIGARO (about which we have already written here).

Hans is our biggest pride: determined at work while tracking, a great swimmer, gentle with children and puppies. He is a gentleman at home in the company of barbet girls, and he comes to us and asks for petting.
We love our Barbets as well as those who came out of our home. The longing for them helped to organize the 1st birthday of litter "F".
Life with the Barbets is interesting - dog shows, trainings, meetings...
Frida, at the age of two and five, became a mummy of wonderful barbets, and we love barbets so much that we try to meet at least once a year with them and their families:
(our first meeting, Barbet Meeting 2017, Barbet Meeting 2019, Barbet Meeting 2020).
Meanwhile, another barbet beauty, a female dog: Tola MERCEDES Łąckie Splendorki (about which we have written here), has moved into our house.

She has perfectly fitted in with our herd, she looks beautiful at dog shows, and on the trail she is excellent at tracking down.
Last year Tola and Hans became parents. Their wonderful children started their adventures in new families.

And we, as befits lovers of the Barbets, left one female dog HEIDI to ourselves.
Heidi is spoiled by us and by older barbets. Our youngest princess is playing not only with her mum, dad and auntie Frida, but also with an eleven-year-old Bajka, a wonderful, lovely and patient grandmother.
Unfortunately, force majeure (pandemic) has limited some activities, but currently Heidi has obedience training, and she has already shown that she is a great swimmer.
When we plan a litter, we put great emphasis on health and character. We put a lot of work into socialising and developing puppies properly. The best families are a priority for our puppies.
When they leave us, they're dewormed, vaccinated according to the age, they have a chip, a metric and a layette. We stay in contact with future families. If necessary, we offer advice and share our experience. We happily meet with new Owners.
